You would of course be very welcome to Sanday - maybe after the refit ferry timetable!!

We should also be thinking about arranging another local Network Meeting - we had one last year and it was a great success. Its key that we all work together and we talk to local Council, MSP's and funders as one voice.

Keep up the great work

Francis

We would love to come to visit the Sanday Men's Shed! Maybe a summer visit.

I agree that bringing all the Orkney sheds together would be very valuable. I was just talking to Morgan about this and encouraging the gathering. Let us know if we can help in any way.

We now have 4 or 5 Sheds in Orkney all of which would be happy to share their experience in setting up a Shed. It is well worth taking the time to visit the 'Orkney Shed' in Stromness

Hi Francis :) A group of us went to the Orkney Men's Shed during the discovery phase of the project which was really insightful and inspiring. We're hoping to do another visit again soon. We're also aiming to visit another isle's shed. We're chatting with the Westray Men's Shed and hopefully we can visit Sanday's shed too.

Likewise, I spoke with Morgan about a group meeting. We should find a date that works for everyone. Saturday has a ferry getting in at 11:20 and leaving at 15:20 for us. We could also do a week day if that worked better?

Of course you would be very welcome here. I think all the island Shed are different, so good to get an over view. We are still only meeting on a Saturday afternoon - (we had 7 members last Saturday) We are still working on restoring the building and we are nearly there. When we are will open at other times to suit the membership. Its been a great but long journey for us, but it has been great. Come and see us...
